Media Forum über ‘Virtuelle Kriegsspiele und soziale Wirklichkeit’

Das Global Media Forum der Deutschen Welle setzt sich vom 03. bis 05. Juni intensiv mit dem Thema “Konfliktprävention im Multimedia-Zeitalter” auseinander. Zu 50 geplanten Einzelveranstaltungen werden über 900 Besucher erwartet. Hauptschwerpunkt wird das sog. “Militainment” sein: Im Workshop ‘Videospiele und Politik: Der Aufstieg der militärischen Unterhaltungs-industrie’ diskutieren Experten die Auswirkungen virtueller Kriegsspiele und die Verquickung von wahren Kriegsvorfällen in fiktiven Ego-Shootern.
